## About this trip

This 4-day, 3-night road trip heads deep into Kinnaur, one of the most striking corners of Himachal Pradesh, with two nights in Chitkul and one in Kalpa.

You reach Sarahan in the morning after an overnight journey, freshen up and visit the Shri Bhima Kali Temple, then continue to Chitkul, arriving in the afternoon. There is time for a nature walk to catch the sunset and the snow-clad mountains before a bonfire and dinner. Day 2 is spent around Chitkul: views of the Baspa Valley, a short hike through the forest along the far side of the Baspa River, time by the river across from the ITBP camp, and another sunset and bonfire dinner.

On Day 3 you drive to Kalpa, stopping at Reckong Peo market and Roghi Suicide Point, then explore Kalpa village and its temple. The last day takes you from Kalpa to Shimla with views of the Kinner Kailash peaks along the way, and an overnight bus from Shimla back to Delhi. ### Which meals are included?

Six meals are included: dinner on Days 1, 2 and 3, and breakfast on Days 2, 3 and 4. The breakfast in Sarahan on Day 1, all lunches and meals during the journey are self-sponsored.

### How much walking or trekking is involved?

Very little. There is an optional sunset nature walk on Day 1 and a short, easy hike through the forest along the Baspa River on Day 2. Most of the trip is scenic driving through Kinnaur, so comfortable walking shoes are enough.

### What should I carry?
