The trip
Eight days across Vietnam from south to north. The trip starts on Phu Quoc Island with an evening at Grand World, its lively entertainment district, then a full day at Vinpearl Safari and VinWonders, and a speedboat tour of the four southern islands with snorkelling, an island lunch, Aquatopia Water Park on Hon Thom and the world's longest oversea cable car back.
A domestic flight takes you to Da Nang. That afternoon a guide leads you through the Cam Thanh coconut forest by basket boat and into Hoi An Ancient Town, with its Japanese Covered Bridge, lantern-lit streets and night market. The next day is spent at Ba Na Hills, riding the cable car up to the Golden Bridge and the French-inspired hilltop resort, with time at Fantasy Park.
The final stretch is in the north. After a flight to Hanoi, a half-day city tour covers the Temple of Literature, the Hoa Lo Prison Museum and a cyclo ride through the Old Quarter. Day 7 is a full-day trip to Halong Bay for a shared cruise past its limestone islets, with lunch on board and a stop at the Bo Hon Archipelago.
You stay seven nights in hotels, three in Phu Quoc, two in Da Nang and two in Hanoi, with seven breakfasts and two lunches included along with the park, cable car and cruise tickets listed in the inclusions. International flights and the two domestic flights are not part of the package.

Arrival in Phu Quoc & Grand World
Arrive at Phu Quoc International Airport, where our driver (without a guide) meets you and transfers you to your hotel. Check-in is from around 2:00 PM as per hotel policy. At 3:00 PM, head to Grand World Phu Quoc, a lively entertainment and shopping destination, and spend the evening exploring the Lake of Love, Bamboo Legend, Miniature Venice, Lantern Street and Tropical Dance Square at your own pace. Transfer back to the hotel at 10:00 PM. Overnight in Phu Quoc.

Vinpearl Safari & VinWonders Phu Quoc
After breakfast, meet your driver in the hotel lobby at 8:30 AM for a full day at two of the island's biggest attractions. Vinpearl Safari is Vietnam's largest wildlife conservation park, home to over 4,000 animals, with an open zoo and a safari bus through semi-wild habitats. Then continue to VinWonders Phu Quoc, a theme park with rides, a water park, themed attractions, shows and one of the world's largest aquariums. Standard tickets for both parks are included. Return to the hotel around 6:00-6:30 PM. Overnight in Phu Quoc.

4 Islands Speedboat Tour & Hon Thom Cable Car
After breakfast, you are picked up between 8:00 and 8:30 AM and taken to the harbour to board a speedboat around the four southern islands of Phu Quoc. Snorkel over coral reefs at Gam Ghi Island, snorkel again at Buom Island (or Mong Tay Island), and relax at the white-sand lagoon on May Rut Island, with lunch on the island. On Hon Thom, spend time at Aquatopia Water Park before riding the world's longest oversea cable car back, about 25 minutes of panoramic views over the islands. Return to the hotel around 4:30-5:00 PM. Overnight in Phu Quoc.

In Da Nang, a driver meets you and transfers you to the hotel. At 3:00 PM, meet your tour guide and head to the Cam Thanh Coconut Forest in Hoi An for a basket boat ride, crab and snail fishing, coconut-leaf crafts and a basket boat race. Continue to Hoi An Ancient Town for the Japanese Covered Bridge, an ancient house and the lantern-lit streets, then the Nguyen Hoang Night Market. In Hanoi, a driver (without a guide) meets you and takes you to the hotel, where you can leave your luggage until check-in at 2:00 PM. At 1:30 PM the city tour begins: the Temple of Literature, Vietnam's first national university; the Hoa Lo Prison Museum, known as the "Hanoi Hilton"; and a traditional cyclo ride through the Old Quarter. Return to the hotel by 5:00-5:30 PM. Overnight in Hanoi.

After the welcome and safety briefing at 12:00 PM, board a shared day cruise of 5-6 hours through Halong Bay's limestone landscapes, past Cock Fighting Islet and Thumb Islet, with a Vietnamese lunch on board. Questions about this trip
Are flights and visa included?
No. International flights are not included, and neither are the two domestic flights on the route: Phu Quoc to Da Nang on Day 4 and Da Nang to Hanoi on Day 6. The trip starts with the airport pick-up at Phu Quoc International Airport on Day 1 and ends with the drop at Noi Bai International Airport, Hanoi on Day 8. Vietnam visa charges are not included. Carry a passport valid for at least six months from your arrival date.
Which meals are included?
Seven breakfasts at the hotels, lunch on the 4-island tour on Day 3 and lunch on the Halong Bay cruise on Day 7. All other lunches and dinners are at your own expense. On the Hoi An evening your guide can recommend local restaurants.
Will a guide travel with us?
Airport and hotel transfers are with a driver only. A tour guide joins the Cam Thanh coconut forest and Hoi An tour on Day 4. A trip leader travels with the group only when there are more than 10 travellers, and support is available 24/7 throughout the trip.
Where will we stay?
Seven nights in hotels on triple sharing: three nights in Phu Quoc, two in Da Nang and two in Hanoi. Check-in is usually from 2:00 PM, so on the Hanoi arrival day you can leave your luggage at the hotel before the city tour. There is no hotel stay on Day 8.
What should I carry?
Your passport with printed copies of your visa and flight tickets, swimwear and a quick-dry towel for snorkelling and the water parks, sunscreen, sunglasses and a cap, comfortable walking shoes, a light jacket for the cooler air at Ba Na Hills, a power bank, a universal travel adapter, and some cash for meals and extras.
